The Ilford Muslim Society, a registered charity in the U.K., was formed in 1978. Masjid-E-Daâ??watul Islam, also known as Balfour Road Mosque, was purchased in 1986. The Societies purpose is to advance the Islamic faith through the provision of a wide range of spiritual, educational and social services enriched with Islamic values that fulfil the needs of the Muslim and the wider community.
