Madrasah Baytul ‘Ilm was established on 3rd December 2003 to meet the need of providing a quality Deeni learning experience for inspirational Muslims; children, youth and adults, both male and female. From its humble beginnings in a small terraced house in Bakewell Street (Leicester, UK), Madrasah Baytul ‘Ilm has expanded to include 26 members of staff and approximately 500 students spread across 23 Nazirah Classes, 7 Hifz Classes, 3 Adult Classes and a full time Alimiyyah Course. Our aim is to provide education through comprehensive information on various topics of Deen, which can enable the young and old to benefit and enhance their knowledge to assist them in their practical day to day life. In order to provide our students with the best possible accommodation, resources and learning experience, Madrasah Baytul ‘Ilm purchased the former church on Spinney Hill Road in November 2008.
